Do you fear the opposite Achilles rupturing when you return to active sport?

I’m 5 weeks post-op and this is one hell I never want to go thru again. I’ve read that once you’ve ruptured, the chance of rupturing the other Achilles is higher when you return to sport. Why is that the case and how can we prevent it? I don’t want to give up tennis but I can’t afford for this to happen again, especially in my line of work.
