System Design Question

The company I work for has recently decided to put a Core Application of ours on a virtual machine in azure. Multiple users need to be able to RDP into it and I am trying to get an idea as to watch services we would need to set it up. We are planning on using windows server 2019 data center edition on azure for this. Is there any reason it wouldn’t work? What services would we need for this to be a reality.
