weird question but..is the ao3 curse real?!

so i am a new writer and i only write in google docs and i wanna start uploading fics but, i see everyone talking about this “curse” and I’m so paranoid if it’s real?! i really wanna make fics but I’m terrified if the curse is real! is this a huge joke or I’m i just being dramatic?!
