AITAH for using restaurant lingo in a post?
I posted in r/doordash about a free pizza I was given while dashing tonight. In the description I mentioned the toppings on it were “pepperoni, japs, and olives”….. To me this was an apt description and I thought nothing of it when I hit post. I’ve since found myself explaining that ‘japs’ is just restaurant lingo for jalapeños and is not racist/a slur.
I’m tired of responding and it feels useless anyways so, I’ll leave the link to the post below and I’ll let AITAH deicide my fate. Feel free to judge my A-holiness by my replies as well, some of them are admittedly a bit contemptuous.
