How can I improve this?
So I've noticed that I tend to 'daydream'. For example when I am brushing my teeth I tend to continuously think of random things, my brushing time gets extended to like 10-15 mins due to this. The same when I'm bathing or even eating for that matter.
I tried playing chess to improve my concentration and speed but in that as well, when I have like 4-5min left my opponent will have about 7-8 min left.
Why do I have such low cognitive skills and how can I improve it?
I seem to have forgotten the story of the books that I've read or the movies that I watched. Even recent books or movies. I don't exactly remember them. I do remember things that I have done in the past so its not like I have a memory loss. I'm guessing because of my 'mind wandering' while reading books I don't exactly remember the story line. Do tell me what you think.
Does this happen to everyone?
P.S. Even when writing this I had forgotten to add the movie/book part initially, took some remembering to add it.
