Is dawn of Ragnarok worth it?

I saw that it's on sale for $25 on the Microsoft store but a lot of the reviews say the game constantly crashes, makes load times longer(in the rest of the game too not just dlc), and corrupted some people's saves. This dlc looks interesting but I don't want it to ruin my game. Have they fixed most of these glitches? And will I miss out on much of evior's story if I skip this one? Or is it practically just about Odin?
